Queen of the Winter Snows

This is the 2nd piece in my Seasonal Elves set.

She is Elven 'Queen of the Winter Snows'
Although the land is stark under its snowy blanket, within the Queen's hands is the first seed of Spring.
Even in the depths of winter the key to a new season of life still lives, waiting for the earth to warm & sun's kiss to awaken it.

This piece had been sitting, all drawn up, on my watercolour paper for about 4 months now...
I finally decided to paint her today. All facts considered, I'm glad that I waited that long as I'm quite happy with the results.
